Kyle and Emmylou Harris – Collaborate on a Remix
Kyle Frederick & Emmylou Harris Collaborate on a Remix
With the help of Emmylou Harris’ inimitable voice, producer Byron House has remixed the song “Eventide,” initially released in 2016 on Kyle Frederick’s second solo album under a partnership with Doug Howard’s Vandermont Music Group.
The ‘Eventide’ remix is an acoustic-based version of the original that focused on the vocal performances. Also included as part of the digital-only release is a remix of the song, “God And Horses,” that features the vocals of John Cowan and Heidi Gluck.
In addition to producing and mixing, Byron House plays bass on both tracks – his son Truman plays percussion on the ‘Eventide’ remix. Kyle Frederick sings lead and plays guitar.
Earlier this year, Frederick released his third solo record, Already November.
See Kyle perform live on October 27 at Douglas Corner in Nashville and on November 10 at La Gala in Bowling Green, KY.

Eventide + God And Horses – Remixed & Remastered can be purchased or stream on ALL digital outlets.

Already November Release Announced
KYLE FREDERICK’S NEW “ALREADY NOVEMBER” EP ARRIVES FEBRUARY 1
VIA PUBLISHING, PRODUCTION COLLABORATION WITH BYRON HOUSE
Melody Chef Music and Byron House Music have joined forces to record and release Already November, the new Americana EP from Kyle Frederick, available through all digital outlets February 1.
Singer, songwriter and musician Frederick authored all of the EP’s tunes, and credits the commute between his home and Nashville for helping create them. In 2016, Frederick began devoting the hours he spent behind the wheel to writing. The songs that resulted are intense explorations of love and loss, the search for meaning and redemption, the passage of time and the legacies we leave behind.
That songs of experience should come from Frederick is only fitting. He has spent decades working on the creative and business sides of the music industry. He served as lead guitarist for acts such as Joe Sun, Earl Thomas Conley and Foster & Lloyd. Frederick then joined country star Clay Walker’s band, eventually becoming Walker’s manager. He also managed SHeDAISY and ran Walker’s Band Against MS charity. Already November is his third solo record.
Frederick’s new songs drew an enthusiastic response from Nashville studio owner, producer and bassist extraordinaire Byron House. House has toured and recorded with an impressive list of major acts, including Robert Plant, Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Nickel Creek and Emmylou Harris.
House was intrigued by his old friend’s new direction. Having co-produced and recorded Frederick’s 2015 EP “Eventide,” House again offered his bass playing skills and Bethlehem Road Studio. House and Frederick shared production and split publishing between Frederick’s Melody Chef Music and House’s publishing company.
House and Frederick focused on eight tunes. The material led them beyond their initial concept of a bare-bones acoustic record to a more fleshed-out set featuring imaginative arrangements. Frederick stuck to his conviction to play only acoustic guitar, and a variety of talents handled drums, background vocals and other instruments. The result is a strikingly original record that rewards every listen.
